Jakarta - In order to implement the policy of counter-terrorism in the BNPT environment, strengthening the legal umbrella in the form of the formation of laws and regulations of the agency in this case the National Counter-Terrorism Agency is needed. A regulation is needed that regulates the definite, standard and binding methods, methods, and standards that bind all units in the BNPT environment as a guideline for the formation of these regulations.
To realize the regulation that regulates the procedures for the formation of Laws and Regulations (Per-UU) and Agency Regulations (Perban), BNPT through the Legal and Public Relations Section, Planning, Legal, and Public Relations Bureau held a Harmonization Meeting of the Draft Regulation of the National Counter-Terrorism Agency concerning the Procedures for the Formation of Laws and Regulations in the National Counter-Terrorism Agency Environment.
The Harmonization Meeting held on Wednesday (31/3) afternoon in Jakarta this time was attended by the Main Expert Drafter of Laws and Regulations, Agus Hariadi, S.H., M.Hum. as the meeting leader and the Head of the Defense and Security Harmonization Sub-Directorate, Hernadi, S.H., M.H., as a resource person from the Directorate General of Legislation of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights.
This meeting focused on discussing the material, namely the draft to ensure the alignment and consistency of the substance with the applicable legislation regulations and good and correct grammar. Through a series of discussions, input and corrections to the draft can be maintained in accordance with the corridor of legislation. At the end of the meeting, all participants from the Directorate General of PUU, Ministry of Law and Human Rights and BNPT agreed to make final corrections in preparation for submitting the draft to the next stage.
