Public Information is information produced, stored, managed, sent, and/or received by a Public Body relating to the administration of the state and/or the administration of other Public Bodies in accordance with Law Number 14 of 2008 concerning Public Information Disclosure as well as other information relating to the public interest.

Yes. All public information can be accessed by the public, except for exempted information.

There are four types of information: Periodic Information, Immediate Information, Information Available at Any Time, and Exempt Information.

PPID is an official who is responsible for storing, documenting, providing, and/or serving information in the Public Sector and is directly responsible to the PPID supervisor. The PPID of BNPT RI is held by the Head of the Planning, Law and Public Relations Bureau.

Public information within BNPT RI can be obtained by: 1. Every request for public information can submit a request for information to BNPT RI in writing (the applicant comes directly) or unwritten (application via the website); 2. Every applicant for public information must fill in the public information request form completely and attach a photocopy of ID card or other valid identity card; 3. BNPT RI will provide proof of receipt of the request for public information. 4. If the request for information is approved, the applicant receives a copy of the public information no later than 10 working days from the receipt of the request for public information.

Public information can be obtained from each public body that controls the information requested.

Fast means that the delivery of public information is done as quickly as possible without delay. On time means that the delivery of public information does not exceed the time period set by UU KIP. Low cost means that the fee charged to the applicant is a reasonable fee in accordance with general prices. Simple means that the procedure for obtaining information must be easy, not difficult, there is clarity on who is responsible for the service of public information requests, and public information is provided in a language that is easy to understand.
