Jakarta - Head of the Planning, Legal, and Public Relations Bureau (Karorenhukmas) as the Information and Documentation Management Officer of the National Counterterrorism Agency (BNPT) Brigadier General. Pol. Tejo Wijanarko, S.I.K., feels grateful that this year BNPT can take part in the 2024 Public Information Openness Monitoring and Evaluation public test organized by the Central Information Commission.

"I think we should be grateful that BNPT can take part in the public test because not all Ministries/Institutions can take part in this, they must pass the passing grade. This is a good moment," he explained at the Grand Mercure Kemayoran Hotel, on Tuesday (12/11).

The BNPT PPID conveyed his commitment to continue to strive to improve public information openness.

"Until today, we continue to strive to provide information to the public in an effective manner," said Brigadier General. Pol. Tejo.

Furthermore, Brigadier General Tejo also shared strategies to improve information services and public information disclosure considering that BNPT is a state institution that has the task and function of preventing acts of terrorism so that not all information can be conveyed to the public.

"Our strategy is to always try to provide information carefully and accountably because there is a lot of information that is also excluded in BNPT considering our duties related to terrorism. However, in general BNPT will try to make access to information easy and fast for the public," he explained.

In addition to being committed to providing information carefully, BNPT also has an information disclosure strategy that is in line with the Vision and 8 Missions of Asta Cita of the President and Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, namely optimizing website and media management in order to provide information that can build early detection of radical terrorism, improve the process of systematic public information request services to increase synergy between public bodies in the fields of politics and security.
