Bogor - The Information and Documentation Management Officer (PPID) of the National Counterterrorism Agency of the Republic of Indonesia (BNPT RI) has a strategic role in public information services, but has the right to maintain information with a legal basis and rational arguments. The process of determining whether information is exempt or not must go through a consequence test.
"PPID is committed to maintaining the security of information produced by BNPT RI through a consequence test on exempted information," explained PPID BNPT RI Brigadier General TNI Roedy Widodo while leading the Finalization Meeting of the List of Exempted Information in the BNPT RI Environment, Monday (19/06) at the BNPT RI Sentul Head Office.
In the discussion session, one by one the information proposals from all work units were examined and discussed starting from the legal basis, the reasons why it was closed, to the time period until the category was determined. It was closed with the signing of the consequence test sheet by representatives of each public information service officer of the work unit.
The decision of today's meeting will then be used as a decision letter for the List of Excluded Information (DIK) within the BNPT RI environment as stipulated in the Central Information Commission (KIP) regulation number 1 of 2021 concerning Public Information Service Standards.
"We have witnessed today's consequence test together, this is a guideline for later becoming a decision letter for the List of Excluded Information (DIK) which will be signed by the PPID superior," concluded the PPID BNPT RI.
