Jakarta - Implementing a policy of simplifying bureaucracy in government agencies is a requirement that needs to be implemented by all government agencies. Considering this and to realize a more proportional, effective, and efficient BNPT organization in order to improve the performance of BNPT's task implementation, BNPT needs to reorganize the organization and work procedures of BNPT.
In order to realize this intention, BNPT led by the Directorate General of Legislation, Ministry of Law and Human Rights held a harmonization meeting for the draft BNPT regulation on the Organization and Work Procedures of BNPT. The harmonization meeting held on Wednesday (14/4) afternoon in Jakarta was attended by the Head of the Defense and Security Harmonization Sub-Directorate Hernadi, S.H., M.H., as the meeting leader from the Directorate General of Legislation, Ministry of Law and Human Rights.
The focus of the meeting was to comb through the draft agency regulations to ensure alignment and consistency of substance with applicable legislation and proper grammar and typology. Through this combing, a deeper discussion regarding the substance of the draft also took place so that input and corrections to the draft could be maintained in accordance with the corridor of legislation and the legal basis governing the National Counterterrorism Agency. The draft concept used in this meeting had previously been through consultation with the Ministry of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform (Kemenpan-RB). At the end of the meeting, all participants from the Directorate General of PUU Kemenkumham and internal BNPT agreed to conduct further draft discussions by inviting other relevant stakeholders. In this case, BNPT will complete the necessary notes at the next meeting.
