Bogor — The National Counter-Terrorism Agency (BNPT) held a technical guidance session for Information and Documentation Management Officials (PPID) via Zoom. The event featured Joemarthine Chandra, S.H., M.H., a Commissioner for Strategy and Research at the Central Information Commission, and was attended by BNPT’s PPID and Implementing PPID (PPID Pelaksana) personnel.

The technical guidance covered the management of public information disclosure, information classification, consequence tests, and the mechanism for handling information requests, in accordance with Law Number 14 of 2008 concerning Public Information Disclosure. The event also served as an opportunity to strengthen the capacity of Implementing PPID personnel in providing information services to the public.

In line with changes to BNPT’s organizational structure and work procedures, discussions were also held regarding adjustments to internal PPID regulations and the management of information with specific characteristics. Moving forward, BNPT plans to conduct an inventory of Implementing PPID operations, align regulations, and strengthen capacity through training and guidance in collaboration with the Central Information Commission.
