BNPT & KUMHAM HOLD INITIAL HARMONIZATION MEETING OF BNPT PERBANK ON PROCEDURES FOR IMPOSING DISCIPLINARY PUNISHMENTS FOR BNPT EMPLOYEES

Jakarta - In order to realize the employees of the National Counterterrorism Agency as government administrators who apply the principles of good governance and are full of disciplined regulations and values, a guideline for the procedure for imposing disciplinary punishment is needed. In this case, BNPT is currently drafting a BNPT Regulation that regulates the procedure for imposing disciplinary punishment for BNPT employees.

The drafting of the regulation, which is packaged in the form of a harmonization meeting, was held on Friday (16/4) afternoon in Jakarta and was led by the Head of the Defense and Security Harmonization Sub-Directorate, Directorate General of Legislation, Ministry of Law and Human Rights. Hernadi, S.H., M.H., and Head of BNPT Personnel Division, Suniah Setyawati.

This meeting discussed the substantive aspects of the overall concept in order to ensure the process of imposing disciplinary punishment objectively, fairly, fulfilling a sense of justice and in accordance with the provisions of laws and regulations and human rights values, a guideline for imposing disciplinary punishment for employees of the National Counterterrorism Agency is needed.

At the end of the meeting, all participants from the Directorate General of PUU Kumham and internal BNPT agreed to conduct further draft discussions by adjusting the applicable regulations, especially the legal procedures for discipline for the TNI/Polri or employees of agencies outside BNPT who serve in BNPT. In this case, BNPT will complete the necessary notes in the next meeting so that the draft concept is more inclusive and comprehensive.
