BNPT and PTPN IV Hold Discussion on Cooperation Agreement (PKS)

Jakarta - Following up on the Memorandum of Understanding between the National Counterterrorism Agency (BNPT) and the Ministry of SOEs, on Wednesday (28/04) afternoon, the Head of BNPT, Commissioner General of Police. Dr. Boy Rafli Amar M.H., received the arrival of the Commissioner of PT. Perkebunan Nusantara IV (Persero) or abbreviated as PTPN, Arief Budiono, along with other PTPN staff to have an audience with BNPT regarding the planned Cooperation Agreement (PKS) between the two organizations in an effort to prevent terrorism in the Nusantara plantation group environment.

Taking place at the BNPT office in Jakarta, in the discussion of this PKS, the Head of BNPT was accompanied by the Head of the Planning, Legal, and Public Relations Bureau Bangbang Surono, Ak, MM, Director of Law Enforcement of BNPT, Brigadier General of Police Eddy Hartono, Head of Data and Implementation Section of BNPT, Lieutenant Colonel Setyo Pramono, and Head of Legal Sub-Section of BNPT, Riza L. Erfiyanto. This audience discussed and formulated in more detail the scope of cooperation between BNPT and PTPN IV (Persero). On this occasion, Arief Budiono conveyed the intent and purpose of cooperation with BNPT.

"Based on the direction of the CEO in all PTPNs, there must be this program, that's why we have a PKS with BNPT, one of which is to avoid and prevent the entry of radicalism in the work environment and PTPN IV employees and to create a good and clean work environment and behavior," said Arief Budiono.

Welcoming this Cooperation Agreement (PKS), the Head of BNPT explained that the problem or issue of radicalism is not only in the community or organization, but this radicalism problem can target anyone, even someone with a high education. For that, to create workers who love their homeland and understand the ideology of the Indonesian nation, prevention efforts in the work environment, both in government and in BUMN environments, must be optimized.

"Indeed, our cooperation with the Ministry of SOEs covers internally and also focuses on human resources (HR) where we hope that at the ministry level and state-owned enterprises, this must really be given p and finally we hope that work activities and professionalism can be upheld by all employees," concluded Boy Rafli.

After this discussion, BNPT and PTPN IV will hold a ceremonial signing of this cooperation as a concrete form of the implementation of this cooperation agreement which is planned to be implemented after Eid al-Fitr 2021.
