Jakarta - The National Counterterrorism Agency and the Ministry of Defense held a Follow-up Meeting to Discuss the Concept of the Memorandum of Understanding on Counterterrorism on Thursday (4/2/21).
This meeting was led by the Head of the Legal Bureau of the Secretariat General of the Ministry of Defense, Marsma TNI Yuwono Agung N., S.H., M.H.. Attended by the Head of the Agreement Section of the Legal Bureau of the Ministry of Defense, M. Helmy Z. Lubis, Head of the Legal Information Documentation Section of the Roturdang Ministry of Defense, Irwan Triadi, Head of the Environmental Sub-Directorate of the State Defense Directorate, Luhkito Hadi Iswanto, Head of the Han nir mil Sub-Directorate of the Defense Component Deployment Directorate of the Defense Strategy Ministry of Defense, Echsan Sutadji, and Head of the Analysis and Evaluation Section of the Environment and Education Sub-Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, Dewi Sundari. The BNPT ranks were attended by the Head of the Legal and Public Relations Division, Pudiastuti Citra Adi, S.H, CN., M.H., M.Si (Han), Representative of the Deputy for Prevention, Protection and Deradicalization, Representative of the Deputy for Enforcement and Capacity Building, Representative of the Deputy for International Cooperation, and Representative of the Main Secretariat.
Head of the Legal Bureau of the Secretariat General of the Ministry of Defense, Marsma TNI Yuwono Agung N., S.H., M.H., said that this Memorandum of Understanding was quite complete and good, but further attention was needed in terms of Scope. "Don't let this MoU not be implemented because we don't have any fields," he said.
The scope of this Memorandum of Understanding includes the exchange of data and information in the fields of human resources, research and development, as well as education and training, resource improvement activities and other activities in the field of counter-terrorism that have been agreed upon by both parties.
In closing, Marsma TNI Yuwono Agung N., S.H., M.H. conveyed, after the signing of this Memorandum of Understanding is expected to immediately make a Cooperation Agreement, especially for improving human resources. Finally, regarding the time and place of signing will be determined further awaiting internal agreement from the Ministry of Defense.
